THE CONTEST
The Young Creative Awards is our flagship program aimed at the young generation of audiovisual creators who are dedicated to the fight against climate change.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between the different generations in the audiovisual sector, to create a link between the energy of young, committed creators and the experience of more established professionals who have been working in the industry for many years.
In the last editions we received more than 500 applications from all over the world.

Five workshops about eco-production plus the Young Creative Awards’ ceremony
During five Saturdays between April and May 2025, screening sessions will be held in Paris at the GoodPlanet Foundation. We'll be looking at a range of topics related to the making and distribution of a film, and how to do it in a more sustainable way. These workshops will feed the ideas of the participants to make the film with which they will try to win the Grand Prize of the Young Creative Awards. The sessions will cover topics such as new narratives, the call to action, eco-production and biodiversity, inclusivity in filmmaking and filming in the field.
For its 14th edition, the Deauville Green Awards Festival is offering a day for the general public, with a host of committed activists and youtubers in attendance. On the programme: screenings and debates, masterclasses, themed workshops, murals and much more!
This year, we're also organising a YCA awards ceremony presented by committed personalities and influencers, with a big night full of music to round off the day!

Mustafa - True story of a tigerr
Mustafa is the story of a man-eating tiger in the village of Mustafabad, Pilibhit , India who lost its track back to the jungle and ended up having killed 6 people and injured one. It is the story about Dr. Utkarsh shukla who risked his life saving this tiger because Shukla understands it’s not the tiger's fault. It’s the population density and the habitat loss that cause the tiger to come out of the jungle. This is the story of how tough it is to rescue a man eater with the people waiting for it to be shot. This is an untold story behind rescuing mustafa and many other animals and the obstacles one faces during such adverse situations. My documentary Mustafa- true story of a tiger is based on the rescue of Mustafa from the jungle, showcasing the different hurdles faced due to human-animal conflict. The main aim of this film Is to showcase how the animals are framed for the crime they did not commit.
