Jury and Trophies
The international jury is made up of film professionals and sustainable development experts. The jury will preselect the film finalists and then attend each presentation during the festival to determine the winners.
The best films of each category in each of the 3 competitions are likely to receive a Golden Trophy. Three Grands Prix are awarded to the best institutional films, documentaries and awareness campaigns, in all categories and sections. The films awarded by Festival partners according to their particular criteria receive a Special Prize.
It is important to note that the jury also reserve the right not to award a trophy in some cases.
Winners who cannot receive their trophies in Deauville can have it sent to them at the end of the festival (with the assumption of a 50 euro handling and shipping fee).
Important note: only the French text of the rules is authentic. The registration of a film entails by this fact the acceptance of the present rules.
