Sophie Bacry Picciotto
Screenwriter, director, playwright and actress
Sophie Bacry Picciotto is a director and actress. It was through acting that she discovered the pleasure of creating characters and plots, before taking up writing to develop meaningful stories. Her tone remains resolutely feel-good, even when she tackles deeper themes.

Inspired by 50-year-old women and their power of seduction, she signed the short film Virtual Attraction (Pixaway Production, 2018), in which she directs Florence Pernel. The film is selected at several festivals, encouraging her to become more fully involved in writing and directing.
Sensitive to societal issues, she directed Tous les trois jours, a prevention spot against violence against women, and co-directed two committed films with Ophélie Koering (L'Interdit and Dans l'ombre, plébiscité en festivals), on the importance of culture, citizenship and the duty to assist.

At the end of 2023, Alice was invited to discuss the eco-referent profession during Netflix Tuesdays with Leslie Thomas, Secretary General of the CNC, and Pervenche Beurrier, Director of Écoprod.
