2021, the hybrid edition

To allow the industry to finally meet again for its tenth edition, the festival is investing in the Franciscan Sisters in Deauville, between sea and land, a new, modern and spacious venue with a rich, digital and face-to-face programme.

On the programme for the 16th & 17th of June 2021: a market place innovation under the glass roof of the Franciscan Sisters, numerous masterclasses and expert round tables, TV studio set, screenings of the hundred or so finalist films in the presence of the jury and the teams (physical or digital), the trophy award ceremony, 500 accredited professionals, meetings and exchanges between creators, media and experts on the theme of transition, numerous invited personalities and access for the general public...

Based on its experience in 2020, this year the festival will propose a mixed edition. Alongside the physical programme proposed in Deauville, there will be opportunities for foreign festival-goers to follow most of the screenings and discussions online, broadcasted live by our media partners and also to find all the exhibitors of the market place in an online space that is specially created for the occasion and will be available for the whole duration.

This solution will therefore offer an innovative, immersive and user-friendly experience on social networks and online platforms to all those who cannot experience the industry’s reunion in person, in Deauville on the 16th & 17th June.
