Like many highly frequented protected natural sites, Cap Fréhel has been the subject, for years, of tourist developments which have accumulated to the point of harming the quality and value of the landscapes and natural environments.

This video, produced as part of the Grand Prix National du Paysage initiated by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, therefore testifies to the restoration and enhancement project for Cap Fréhel, carried out by the Conservatoire du Littoral and the landscape designer Alain Freytet, consisting as much in protecting the natural environment and the animal and plant species that live there as in welcoming walkers by offering them an exceptional place of healing and inspiration. This film, both aesthetic and educational, was also designed to be presented as one of the centerpieces of the French candidacy for the Landscape Award of the Council of Europe.
